Notepads are 
30 sheets of thicker than standard printer paper make up the notepad
The backing is made out of a 65lb cardstock
With a white center to make writing on them more visible
 
Due to their handmade nature, they may contain minor defects; such as a small amount of glue on the top page, creasing on the top page from the clams used when gluing them, and some white edges possible if not cut 100% on point.
